Introduction of an innovative technology for sealable packaging based on polyester PET film using spot heat-seal lacquer.
MARDRUK OPAKOWANIA SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA is carrying out the project 'Introduction of an innovative technology for sealable packaging based on polyester PET film using spot heat-seal lacquer.'
Description of the tasks and activities carried out under the project
– Purchase and installation of a spot dispersion coating machine – an innovative machine that will make it possible to apply heat-seal lacquer selectively, only in the areas to be sealed, thereby reducing raw-material and waste consumption.
– Purchase and installation of a photovoltaic system – ensuring the energy efficiency of the production processes.
– Purchase of a low-voltage switchgear together with a room to house it – necessary to operate the new infrastructure.
Project target groups
– Companies in the food sector that use packaging for packing food.
– Companies in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sector that need durable packaging for their products.
– Consumers of these products, who will gain access to more eco-friendly packaging.
– Entities in the logistics and transport chain in the food sector.
Project objectives
The objective of the project is to implement an innovative technology for producing packaging based on polyester PET film, enhanced with spot heat-seal lacquer and lamination technology (bonding two mono-material structures together), and thereby to introduce into the company's offering sealable mono-material packaging with increased durability and functionality, produced using a sustainable approach to production processes.
Expected effects and results of the project
– Introduction into the company's offering of sealable mono-material packaging based on polyester PET film enhanced with spot heat-seal lacquer (PRODUCT INNOVATION).
– Implementation of the technology for producing this packaging (PROCESS INNOVATION).
– A change in the company's business profile – a greater focus on eco-friendly products and sustainable production processes.
