Sauerkraut
Printed film bags — with a window or transparent with a printed band — show the product, while a strong, repeatable seal holds the moist, acidic content through crate stacking and chilled transport. Folk or traditional artwork sells ferments well: we print it reverse-side, so it never scuffs from moisture on the counter.
Pickled cucumbers
A doypack with a window is the premium shelf for pickles: it stands straight, shows the product in brine and opens conveniently. We match laminate structures to acidic, salty brine — tight side and bottom seals hold liquid content from the packing room to the chilled counter.
Beetroot, ferments and kimchi
Smaller formats — stand-up bags and doypacks with vivid artwork — work well for pickled beetroot, fermented beet and rye starters or increasingly popular kimchi. Intense dark juices require film that does not discolour and never lets go at the seal.
Tightness and food contact
Products in brine are the toughest tightness test: we control the sealing window and seam strength with liquid, acidic content. Materials carry food-contact declarations of conformity, with testing in our own laboratory. For PPWR-minded customers we offer MarEco monomaterial structures (PE/PE, PP/PP).
