MARDRUK OPAKOWANIA Sp. z o.o. Sp. K. is carrying out the project "Improving energy efficiency at Mardruk Opakowania Sp. z o.o. Sp. K.", co-financed by the European Funds under the European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021–2027 programme (Priority FENG.03 Greening of enterprises, Measure 3.01 Eco-credit).
Project goal: a significant increase in the energy efficiency of the Andrychów plant and a reduction in energy consumption and emissions — including a complete phase-out of natural gas in favour of machines powered solely by electricity.
Scope of work:
• replacing part of the machine fleet with more energy-efficient equipment,
• installing photovoltaic panels (own source of electricity),
• thermal modernisation of buildings: insulation of walls, roof and floors, replacement of windows and doors, modernisation of the heating system and heat substation, LED lighting.
The investment is carried out at the company headquarters in Andrychów between 01.09.2025 and 31.08.2027.
Target groups: the direct beneficiary is Mardruk Opakowania — the Andrychów production plant and its employees; indirectly, the environment and the local community benefit from lower energy use and emissions.
Outcomes: primary energy savings of at least 63.33% within the project scope, a lasting reduction in energy consumption and emissions, and modernisation of the machine fleet and plant infrastructure.
Total project value: PLN 18,994,000.00
EU co-financing (ecological premium): PLN 11,494,000.00
