Barrier laminates

Barrier laminates are used for packing food products in a modified atmosphere (MAP) and for vacuum packing

Thanks to the gas mixture that replaces the air, the growth of microorganisms in the packaging can be completely reduced and freshness can be kept for longer.

The use of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) technology is one of the most effective ways to preserve food products.

 

 

The most commonly used films for barrier laminates are:

 

PET, PET EVOH, OPA, OPA EVOH, PA, PA / PE, BOPP EVOH, CPP, CPP EVOH, LDPE, LDPE EVOH and others.

Most often, we use barrier laminates when packing products such as:

 

 

meat and cold cuts,
hams and smoked meats,
ripening cheeses,
loose and liquid articles,
fish and seafood,
technical materials,
ready meals,
cottage cheese,
packaged cheese,

 

Laminates of this type are characterized by:

 

 

transparent and glossy,
very good thermoformability,
excellent heat sealability,
puncture resistance,
thermal resistance.
